WORSHIP SERVICE
We practice a "simple church" experience. We will have various musical styles depending upon the Saturday. Sometimes we sing to videos, sometimes with a multi-racial choir, sometimes with a piano and singing hymns, and sometimes more contemporary songs with a guitar or band. Afterwards we open the Bible together and seek to hear what God wants us to hear. We are committed to prayer and practice an "open communion" about once a month.
DESSERT FELLOWSHIP
There is something about "breaking bread" together. Every week we will enjoy the Panera Bread "doughnation" of desserts, bagels, and bread. After we have eaten, people are free to take home what they can use. Juice and hot drinks are served as well each week.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Come and join Highland Park Community Church as we seek to grow together in our knowledge of what is means to be a follower of God and Jesus. We have classes for all ages with teachers from both churches and Pastor Herman usually leads the adult class. Most of our studies are DVD driven and will allow for about half of our time in study, questions, and interaction together.
